Health Appeal is built so that it does not need to know who you are.

What the connector receives

When your AI assistant uses Health Appeal, it sends a coverage type (for example, Medicare Advantage), dates from your notice, a denial category (for example, not medically necessary), and yes or no flags such as whether the request is urgent. The tools reject anything else. They do not accept your name, member ID, diagnosis, records, or free text.

Letter templates come back with blanks. Your assistant fills those blanks on its side, from your letter. Your details do not pass through Health Appeal.

What is stored

One thing: an anonymous daily count of how many times each tool was used, by coverage type and denial category. No IP address, no dates from your notice, no text. We use it to see which kinds of denials people need help with.

Like every website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes network data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and block abuse. We do not add analytics, advertising trackers or cookies.

The deadline check on the home page

It runs entirely in your browser. The page's security policy blocks it from sending data anywhere.

The letter builder

The letter builder at healthappeal.ai/letter also runs entirely in your browser. What you type, including names, member IDs and medical details, is never sent to Health Appeal and is not saved anywhere, not even on your own device. When you close the tab it is gone, so copy or print your letter first.

Your AI assistant

Your assistant is a separate product with its own privacy policy. What you show it, including photos of your denial letter, is handled under that policy, not this one.

Calendar files

A calendar link contains two dates and a generic title. Nothing else.

Changes

If Health Appeal ever adds a feature that needs personal information, it will be optional, it will ask first, and this page will say so before it launches.
